To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I had never read this classic and decided to give it a try. I enjoyed it. It was well-written and did a good job describing the racial tensions of the 1930's. I am glad I decided to give it a try. Harper Lee's characterizations of the children, the reclusive neighbor and the heroic father/lawyer are very well-done.
